Macie Harris graduated summa cum laude from George Mason University’s School of Dance and was named the 2023 recipient of the “Outstanding Achievement in the Major” award. During her time at GMU Macie worked closely with Christina Robson, Susan Shields, and Shaun D’arcy. Moreover, she performed works by Robert Battle, Camille A. Brown, Doug Varone, and Larry Keigwin.

Prior to attending GMU, Macie was fortunate to train at Expressenz Dance Center. While at Expressenz, Macie competed on NBC’s World of Dance Season 2, America’s Got Talent, performed in The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra’s Yuletide Celebration, and more. Because of the training she received at both institutions, Macie confidently performs jazz, theater, ballet, tap, hip hop, contemporary, and modern dance.

Macie’s favorite professional credits include Netflix’s Umbrella Academy Season 3 Promo, YouTube’s 20th Anniversary NewFront Event, the 2025 National Tour of The Aluminum Show, Larry Keigwin’s Rhapsody, and being in the original cast of the musical What do you do with an idea? at the 92NY.
